427 East 90 is a modern, new residence that rises in a storied, classic New York neighborhood. From the very start, we worked hand-in-hand with interior architect Gil Even-Tsur to position and craft the story of the building from the inside out. We aimed to capture a sense of belonging to this fairy-tale New York setting, painting the picture of an address that blurred the lines between the exterior neighborhood and the intimate interiors with floor to ceiling windows and Juliet balconies. We developed materials inspired by the sensory moments and cues that create that one-of-a-kind feeling, from shadows, light, textures, and craftsmanship to the mom-n-pop shops and pocket parks. All of this helped us build our story and craft the brand of a sophisticated yet quaint address, on a story-book tree-lined street where life’s sweetest moments take place.
